How to Read the Life K-Line: Activity Is Not Good or Bad Luck

The chart borrows the shape of candlesticks, not their market meaning. It compresses chart relations at each age into a comparable structural-activity index.

01

Set aside market intuition

An upward candle does not mean profit and a downward candle does not mean decline. Candlestick grammar lets more than a century of age points share one timeline. The vertical scale records modelled relationship activity, not outcome quality.

02

Four readings in one candle

Open maps the decade structure layer, while close maps annual relationship activity. High and low form a bounded sensitivity envelope around them. A longer wick means the index changes more under nearby conditions, not that events will be dramatic.

  • Open: decade structure
  • Close: annual relationship activity
  • High and low: bounded sensitivity
  • Labels: detected combinations and clashes
03

Read a phase before a year

Zoom into a visibly active or quiet age range and see whether it crosses a decade boundary. Then select an individual year for its detected relations. This shows whether a theme persists or appears only in a brief overlap.

04

Turn a peak into a review question

At a high-activity point, ask which relations overlap, what choices multiplied in real life, and what condition would invalidate the interpretation. The graph locates the point; the narrative connects themes; lived experience checks them.
